Vacuum Infusion

Vacuum infusion is the process of making composite products by utilizing the vacuum of air in the mold. Vacuum infusion consists of resin inlet hose, resin outlet hose, reservoir tube, bagging film, vacuum pump and mold. In the process of making vacuum infusion resin enters the mold due to the difference in air pressure outside and inside the mold. Vacuum gauge is used to determine the pressure in the mold so that the flow rate can be controlled.
